Safety is designed into the service
Quran Clarity Academy teaches children online, so safeguarding must be practical, visible, and consistent. Recitation skill alone is never enough for a teacher to receive a paid student.
Teacher vetting scorecard
Before receiving a paid student, every teacher must pass a scorecard covering:
- English clarity. Parents and children can understand the teacher easily.
- Child warmth. The teacher is patient, calm, and encouraging.
- Female teacher option. Girls can be matched with a female teacher where needed.
- Meaning explanation. The teacher can explain one meaning point simply and clearly.
- Tajweed correction. The teacher identifies mistakes and corrects them gently.
- Specific logging. The teacher submits useful lesson notes, not vague praise.
Official channels only
Family communication should stay on official channels. Teachers should not create private personal contact with families through personal social accounts or informal side channels.
Recording consent
Class recording requires parent or guardian consent and should be documented before recording begins. Student recordings are used only for learning, review, or parent proof when agreed. They are never shared publicly.
Escalation to the founder
Any concern about child discomfort, teacher conduct, boundaries, or communication should be escalated to the founder. We would rather hear concerns early than allow uncertainty to continue.
How parents report a concern
Email info@quranclarityacademy.com with the subject line "Safeguarding concern" and include the child's first name, class time, teacher name if known, and a clear description of what happened.
